Our Philanthropy
A Letter from our Director of Philanthropy
Hi! My name is Bri Oliveira and I am Theta Omicron’s Director of Philanthropy. Our philanthropy is Ronald Mcdonald House Charities, which is a place where loved ones of those who are in nearby hospitals can stay and rest. Our chapter works closely with the Charlottesville House which allows many sisters to participate in weekly visits! When sisters visit, they help with cooking meals for families, clean the house, and spend time with the families staying there. It is incredibly rewarding to be able to visit our philanthropy and be able to make a difference. In my position I work hard to raise money for RMHC through various events held on our campus! My favorite event has been ADPizza, an all you can eat pizza night! It is extremely rewarding being able to plan and host these events to raise money for such an amazing cause! I was so drawn to my position because my family has been personally impacted by the amazing work that Ronald Mcdonald House Charities can do! I am so grateful that I can give back to the organization that made a difficult time for my family just a little bit easier.

The Ronald McDonald House of Charlottesville
Since 1979, Alpha Delta Pi has been committed to serving Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC). Our chapter is proud to serve the Ronald McDonald House of Charlottesville. Blocks from University of Virginia Medical Center, RMHC provides a refuge to families caring for their ill child.
Our chapter aims to assist RMHC through philanthropic events to raise funds for donation. In addition to donating money to this worthwhile cause, we spend our time and volunteering at the house each week. We help prepare meals and clean the facilities. For more information about Ronald McDonald House Charities, please visit the RMHC website at www.rmhc.org.
